Day of the International Environment, Tishreen University
Tishreen University- The Higher Institute of environmental Research- organized a scientific conference in the Day of the International Environment under a motto of "I am with nature" from 5 to 6 June 2017 in Tishreen University.
The DESIRE team in Tishreen University participated in the activities of this conference especially in the organization and the participation in the scientific issues.
Within the frame work of the dissemination plan of DESIRE project, the main goals of the DESIRE project were defined and explained and the relationship between this project and the environment and climate change and energy sustainability was presented and well identified.
This conference was well covered by the media (tv, radio, press,) and some of its activities were transferred alive.
This activity took 10 days preparation and participation by the team members.
Conference Objectives:
The objectives of this conference are to make the audience familiar with the international environment day, to discuss the results and the recommendations of the presented papers in the conference, and to provide suggestions in the field of environment and environment reconstructions.
Conference Topics:
First topic: the horizon of transferring and localizing the modern methods for water and sanitary wastewater treatment.
Second topic: the environmental research for postgraduate students
The recommendations of the conference were submitted to the Syrian Prime Minister for discussion and approval to be implemented by different stakeholders.
